Admissions

Tours And Classroom Observations
As part of the admission process, we invite all prospective parents or guardians to observe classrooms and tour the school. Classrooms are observed during the regular school day. We would like prospective parents to be as informed about the school as possible.
A tour of our beautiful campus will include walking through the
classrooms as well as discussing the daily activities.
After the observation visit, the next step is to complete the appropriate admissions paperwork. This is the time that questions regarding Country Day Montessori and our programs can be answered. This is also an opportunity to
discuss the information about our policies and practices.
Philosophy And Policies
The essence of the Montessori philosophy is to create an environment that fosters and serves each child individually. Country Day Montessori appreciates differences among students, and we believe that differences contribute to an enriching environment for all.
The school works to build classroom communities that best meet the need of all children. The application process helps the school and your family to determine whether the Country Day Montessori learning environment is appropriate for your child's needs.
Country Day Montessori School of Raleigh admits students and parents of any race, gender, color, religious affiliation, national or ethnic origin, or sexual orientation. We do not discriminate in the administration of our school policies or programs.
You can view our policies on the
Information and Forms page.
Children entering our infant program must be at least 6 weeks old; our Montessori Toddler programs begin at 12 months through 2 years; our Children's House Program begins at age 3 years through 6 years.

Wonderful school!
The staff is excellent and my children have excelled under
their leadership. My boys have been there under two
different managements and I love(d) them both. They have
worked with me under variable conditions and are flexible.
They also take the time to interact with parents during
scheduled progress checks throughout the year to address the
children's development. I wouldn't enroll them anywhere
else!
